How do I apply for a post?

Please complete an Application Form.  This can be downloaded here or you can call the Human Resources Team on 01253 795648 and request that an Application Pack be posted out to you.

How do I prepare to complete my application?

  • Take your time to read the job description and person specification and make sure your answers always reflect the criteria listed.
  • Please don't include CVs or any other information (unless stated otherwise).
  • It is important to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and experience under the Supplementary Information section of the Application Form so please offer specific examples, rather than just stating that you meet all the specified criteria.
  • You need to give the names of two referees.  One should be your current employer or your most recent employer if you do not currently have a job.  The second referee should be a work reference from a previous employer or college tutor/lecturer.
  • Check the closing date for applications, if applicable.

Are new employees subject to a probationary period?

Fylde Community Link recognises the importance of introducing employees effectively into the Organisation.  It is appreciated that learning a new job is a challenging experience and that it also takes time to adjust to new people and new surroundings.  All employees who are new to their post will have a full induction and will be supported in their new role by regular support sessions and training.  New employees will be reviewed over a 2 year period in order to ensure that they are undertaking their duties correctly and effectively.

 

Is there an upper age limit to work at Fylde Community Link?

No.

 

What method of payment does Fylde Community Link operate?

New employees joining the Organisation will be paid weekly by credit transfer into their bank account.
